USA Pickleball Introduces New Age Brackets For Sanctioned Tournaments

USA Pickleball, the National Governing Body for the sport of pickleball, today introduced the new age brackets of 30+ and 40+ divisions for all sanctioned pickleball tournaments.

Previous age brackets consisted of 19+, 35+, 50+ and above. In order to further promote fair competition and encourage as much tournament play as possible, USA Pickleball has approved the change to 19+, 30+, 40+ and 50+ and above. These brackets can be implemented immediately.

“We are excited to see the game continue to grow amongst our young adults and look forward to what the future holds,” said Karen Parrish, Director of Sanctioning. “Offering the 30+ and 40+ divisions is just the beginning.”

Note: Any brackets that are 50+ and above can increase by 5, 10, or 15 years. The 19+, 30+ and 40+ brackets are 10 year age divisions only.
